R-Escape is a local company set up to provide high quality holiday accommodation on the Isle of Skye in outstanding locations. We have 7 properties available to let now all over the island and have been fortunate to receive some lovely reviews from our visitors. Each property has stunning views and has been furnished to the highest standard. We are a very focussed team and absolutely love what we do and feel exceptionally proud to be able to bring people to Skye and give them a first class experience. We want to assure all our guests that all our cottages remain open. Although we are highly recognised for our exceptional cleaning standards, we have taken extra precautions and increased the time between changeovers to make sure all our properties are cleaned to the highest possible standard.

Jessie's Hideaway is a lovely cottage which has been completely refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation for the discerning traveller. The cottage sits in the grounds of historic Monkstadt House which has links to Bonnie Prince Charlie and his escape from Skye. Jessie's Hideaway looks out to sea and is in a blissfully peaceful location, this is the ideal location for a complete escape.

Jessie's Hideaway is situated on the famous Trotternish loop where you will see the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Duntulm Castle and the Museum of Highland Life. Monkstadt House is nearby which was once the home of the Clan MacDonald and where Flora MacDonald borrowed the clothes to dress Bonnie Prince Charlie up as Betty Burke during his infamous escape from the Redcoats. Whether you enjoy hiking, fishing and photography or you want to experience something different such as kayaking, wildlife stalking or foraging, Skye offers all kinds of outdoor activities.
