HK Rooms (formerly Hotel Katherine) is a 12 bedroomed property located in Britain's most easterly town Lowestoft in Suffolk and borders with Norfolk. We are a minute’s stroll from the award winning sandy beaches and the tranquil park of Kensington Gardens where you can enjoy tennis and bowls. HK Rooms has modern facilities whilst retaining the character of the period it was built in. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with superb showers, digital TV, coffee/tea facilities, free WiFi, hair dryers and comfortable beds. We offer rooms with private en-suites with access to a large communal kitchen, laundry room and shared lounge. This is a self catering facility primarily for workers in the area though we are happy to accept tourists if happy with our proposition. Self check in and check out There are no reception facilities.

We welcome you to stay with us where you will feel valued and appreciated as we like nothing more than going the extra mile to ensure our guests needs are met.

The sandy beaches are opposite HK Rooms. A tranquil park with a boating pond, tennis courts and green bowls lawns are available for use (public facilities). Oulton Broad is nearby where a boat trip is a nice pastime.
