Kerangarth consists of a kitchen/diner with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and dining seating for four people, a utility with washing machine and fridge, a dining room with dining seating for eight people, a sitting room with Smart TV and open fire, a sitting room with Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor double with en-suite shower room, two doubles, and two singles, serviced by a bathroom and cloakroom. Outside, there is a non-enclosed garden with patio, lawned space, furniture, and off-road parking for four cars. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Travel cot and highchair available. You'll find a shop in 0.7 miles, pub in 0.2 miles, and river in 1.2 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. A delightful historic village surrounded by beautiful unspoilt Northumbrian countryside, Corbridge offers much of interest, including specialist shops, old inns and a 12th century bridge spanning the river. Hadrian’s Wall and Housesteads Fort are nearby, whilst the market town of Hexham is a few miles away and is well worth a visit, with its narrow bustling streets, good selection of shops and a fascinating abbey boasting 15th century paintings and a fine Saxon crypt. The Border Country, Northumbrian coast, Kielder Forest with cycling and watersports, Beamish Open Air Museum and Durham Cathedral are all within easy motoring distance, while the Gateshead Metro Centre (one of the largest shopping centres in Europe) can be found 20 miles to the east. Excellent golf and fly and coarse fishing are also available locally.
