You are promised a warm and a friendly welcome. We are confident you will have a very pleasant stay. You share the house with Doctors and Nurses who work at the hospital opposite. Kitchen with all appliances. Dining room for you to eat and work. Free use of the washing machine and dryer. Free Wi-Fi, all bills included. Fully heated with triple glazing windows. We are directly opposite Calderdale Royal Hospital (CRH), in Halifax with easy access to Huddersfield, Elland and other local towns and motorway network. Very close to bus stops and a free shuttle bus between CRH and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. The accommodation is for Hospital staff only. Bus stops outside the building. There is an excellent public transport service to and from Halifax town centre with its bustling nightlife, theatre and cultural attractions.

We are directly opposite Calderdale Royal Hospital (CRH). Piece Hall The Piece Hall in Halifax is without doubt of great architectural importance and stands today as a testament to the towns glorious industrial past. A Grade 1 listed building it opened in January 1779 as a market for the sale of cloth pieces, hence the name. Ultimately, however, a decline in textile making lead to the conversion of the building into a market for the sale of vegetables and fresh fish. Latterly, this magnificent structure has undergone yet another transformation and now possesses a large number of speciality shops situated in galleries on three levels. The courtyard houses a fleamarket on Thursdays and an open market on Fridays and Saturdays. Eureka - museum for children Situated conveniently close to Halifax railway station Eureka! the museum for children, is a truly innovative and exciting display space which is aimed primarily at youngsters between the ages of three and 12 years. Possessing several interactive galleries it is unlike more traditional museums, in that rows of forbidding glass cases have been banished in favour of highly imaginative tactile exhibits that demand to be explored by child sized hands.
