Lakeway is a beautiful cottage on the fringe of the Lake District National Park. It is situated 2.5 miles from Pooley bridge and is a 5 minute walk from the quaint village of Tirril which has its own Country Pub. You can walk the Eamont way to Pooley bridge, following the footpath or hop on the bus. Lakeway has 4 double bedrooms, the master bedroom is ensuite and there is a large living / dining area which has plenty of room to relax with friends or family. The enclosed gardens provide plenty of space. We also run Waterside Campsite on Lake Ullswater, free parking is available to all our guests. Just let the reception team know you're staying at Lakeway.
Cottage is self-contained but guests can contact the host incase of an emergency. Telephone number is provided with check-in details and in property.
On the outskirts of Tirril. Small village, Close to Ullswater and the Lake District National Park. Lakeway is in a residential area and do not allow parties at the property. We would like to remind guests of quiet hours between 22:00h - 08:00h. You can find Fabi's Fabulous milk just down the road. You can walk the Eamont Way to Pooley Bridge or Penrith alsong footpaths, or hop on the 508 bus to explore the Lakes. Waterside Campsite has watersports available, or you can spend the day there with a picnic. Parking is free of charge for our guests.
