Lamorna in Sennen, Cornwall, consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen including electric oven and hob, microwave, air fryer, fridge, freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster, a dining area, and a sitting area with Smart TV and electric fire. The bedrooms include a double with en-suite walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a twin, serviced by a bathroom with bath, handheld shower, basin and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed front decking with furniture and allocated parking for 2 cars. One small well-behaved dog welcome (not allowed on furnishings or in bedrooms). The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
