Larch Lodge consists of an open-plan kitchen/living/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, dining seating for six people, and sitting area with TV and DVD player. The bedrooms consist of a double with TV and en-suite shower room and a twin with en-suite bathroom. Outside, there is wraparound decking with furniture and garden with lawn and furniture, along with off-road parking for two cars. Sorry, no pets. Please note: the garden is not enclosed. Sorry, no smoking. You’ll find a shop in 6.4 miles, pub in 1.7 miles, and a lake in 0.6 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all inc. in rent. Larch Lodge is a tranquil base for a Cumbria escape. Note: On-site Vegetarian Coffee Shop/Restaurant is open 10am – 4:30pm (closed on Mondays). Note: One dog welcome by arrangement for 20 per week. Dogs must be kept on a lead and not allowed to roam freely. Note: 3 day breaks available at 70% of weekly price. Note: A 100 deposit secures your booking.

The bustling market town of Penrith, once the capital of Cumbria, enjoys a central position between the Lake District, the Westmoorland Dales and North Pennines and is ideally placed for taking in all that the region has to offer. Brougham Castle, Brougham Hall (The Windsor of the North), Lowther Castle and Gardens, Long Meg and her daughters (the 3rd largest stone circle in England) and the historic city of Carlisle are all a short drive away, as is the stunning scenery of both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
