The staff were so friendly and laid back, very helpful when needed. The cabin was in a perfect location, very private and had everything we needed. As can be said for the campsite and the facilities.

Able to unload and park beside the cabin, very easy access to restaurants and The Eden Project which was on our wishlist. Home away from home, just lovely . Was left a plate of scones, jam, clotted cream and 2 bottles of Apple Cider, very much...

Gorgeously decorated, generous sized cabin run by lovely people. The on site store was fab too (the pizza was delicious!!). We got lost walking to the beach but it was an adventure, and Crinnis beach was fabulous!

The cabin was amazing. We arrived late but the warden (Tricia) was available immediately in a phone call. She took us to the cabin and gave us a quick overview. The main park was closed so not many people around but I am sure it will be buzzing...

I liked the proximity to the Eden project (which was the main reason we booked it) and the fully equipped kitchen for self catering.

We offer three delightful and spacious log cabins, hand crafted and built in pine giving them an alpine feel. Standard throughout each lodge is an open plan dining, kitchen and lounge with private sunny balconies and outdoor BBQ’s for alfresco dining. The lodges are designed for a quality holiday in this peaceful park with private fishing lake and wonderful dog walks. Each cabin offers 1 double room and 1 twin room, a Family bathroom with toilet and shower. Dining room and kitchen with seating for 6.
East Crinnis Farm was originally established by Dan's great granddad William Olford in the late 1800’s. Previously East Crinnis had been a thriving mining community with the 19th century being the peak of production from Tin and Copper. During the 1920’s East Crinnis Farm expanded and gained productivity especially leading up to and during the Second World War. During the second half of the 20th century my grandfather farmed a large dairy herd, poultry and pigs along with the arrival of holiday makers staying for B&B in the farmhouse. As my dad Glyn Olford took over the farm a larger herd of beef cattle were developed and during the 80’s East Crinnis Farm reached a peak in productivity. In 1989 Glyn and Betty (mum) started a small certified location campsite starting with just five pitches. Year on year they added to the campsite and by 2005 they had built three log cabins. In 2010 Dan came back to East Crinnis to run the site and is developing the site every year.
Boating in the bay or hiking around the headland, you couldn’t wish for a better location to explore St Austell bay as East Crinnis is right in the middle of the horseshoe shape that spans miles of wonderful coastline, beaches, caves and harbours. Leaving the site through the woodland path, you reach a bridal path and a further few minutes’ walk and you’ll be towering above Crinnis beach on the south west coastal footpath. The world famous Eden Project is just over a mile away along with the wolf heritage harbour of Charlestown the home of the Poldark series. With Fowey and Mevagissey harbour only a short drive away this really is a coastal paradise on the south coast of Cornwall. Sail, Paddleboard or Kayak from Polkerris water sports centre or sunbathe, picnic, rockpool and swim at the extremely sheltered Porthpean beach. Eat the fresh scallops or mussels caught by the local fisherman or enjoy a well-deserved Cornish Ale in the sun.
