Couples can indulge in a unique and upmarket glamping experience at this cosy hideaway, nestled adjacent to the owner’s detached home yet where your privacy is assured. The shepherd’s hut sits conveniently between Barnstaple and Newton Tracey. Approach your glamping home via a private driveway. Climb the steps into the hut to find a delightful open plan living area that’s snug but uses the space cleverly. The kitchen features an induction hob, an airfryer, a combi microwave/oven, toaster, kettle and a fridge freezer. The electric heater at floor level will keep you toasty warm on cooler days. There is a small dining area with stalls to enjoy meals together and a wall mounted smart TV. The bedroom has a double bed with views across the fields and there is a lovely shower room.

Martin is a keen Falconer. There are a number of birds of prey onsite. Martin offers a truly amazing experience for guests at a discounted price. Paula loves hosting and enjoys meeting the guests. Both are keen walkers and can recommend some lovely walks coast and country.

The shepherd’s hut is in a lovely quiet hamlet. A superb country pub serving excellent food is under 2 miles away and the town of Barnstaple is just 4 miles away, offering a large selection of bars, restaurants, shops, a cinema and a theatre. We are near some amazing beaches and very close to the Tarka Trail and the South West Coastal path.
