Company info

After many years touring Scotland—mainly on motorbikes—and falling in love with Ullapool and its stunning surroundings, I relocated in 2005 in search of a new lifestyle. My previous career in the food industry demanded precision and attention to detail, skills that have proved invaluable in delivering exceptional service to guests and property owners alike. I founded Ullapool Holiday Homes in 2008 as an independent, bespoke holiday-letting business based just north of Ullapool. Today, we look after around 30 self-catering properties sleeping from 2 to 8 guests, covering an area stretching across the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Because we know each home and the area personally, guests can always contact us for any information that isn’t listed—our motto has always been Happy to Help. Before launching the business, I worked at a caravan and camping holiday park, gaining hands-on experience in everything from administration to mowing grass and even unblocking drains. Those early days inspired the idea behind Ullapool Holiday Homes and helped build the foundation of a business that continues to grow from strength to strength. Every property in our portfolio is personally inspected, and we understand each home inside out. If you have a question, we’re confident we’ll have the answer. Each holiday home includes a detailed guide on how everything works, along with a wealth of visitor information, games, and books to help you make the most of your stay. And when I’m not working? You’ll usually find me in the garden, growing vegetables, or out walking my dog—enjoying the very lifestyle that brought me to this remarkable corner of Scotland.
