Loch Eyre Shepherd's Hut is located 7 miles from Portree, which makes a great location to tour the Isle of Skye, or for a stop over en route to the Outer Hebrides. Loch Eyre Shepherd's Hut is designed as a small, cosy, off-the-grid style accommodation, with a double bed and compact table with 2 chairs. The hut does not have an attached bathroom, guests have exclusive use of a private bathroom in the main guesthouse, located around 30 metres from the hut. The hut offers a peaceful, unplugged stay - there's no WIFI inside. If guests need to connect, they are welcome to use the lounge nearby. Our Shepherd Hut is equipped with it’s own wood burning stove, and has electric power to make your stay comfortable. It’s position affords stunning views over Loch Eyre and beyond. The hut is tastefully decorated and provides the ideal cosy retreat for your visit to Skye where you can rest and enjoy some privacy. **THE PRIVATE SHOWER ROOM IS SITUATED 30 METRES FROM THE HUT INSIDE THE GUEST HOUSE**

Loch Eyre Shepherds Hut is situated between Portree and Uig (approximately 11 minute drive to both), making it an ideal location for exploring the Isle of Skye. There are buses around 3 times per day which pass at the bottom of the street, which go to Portree or Uig, allowing you to connect easily for your ongoing journey. (check schedule as it is subject to change).
