Lower Marsh Farm has been welcoming guests for over 10 years. We are very proud to have again won Silver in the 2023 / 2024 Cornwall Tourism Awards Self Catering Property of the Year category. Previously we won Silver in the 2017 / 2018 Cornwall Tourism Awards Self Catering Property of the Year category & Highly Commended in the Wildlife Friendly Tourism Business Award category. In 2018 we were awarded Highly Commended in Cornwall Sustainability Awards Best Contribution to Environmental Growth through Land Management 2018 category (the winners were The National Trust!). Then in 2019 we were awarded Commended in the Cornwall Tourism Awards Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Award 2019 category. Award winning location in the beautiful Tamar Valley on the border between Cornwall and Devon, set within an Area of Outstanding National Beauty on the River Tamar. Lower Marsh Farm is on the outskirts of the pretty village of Landulph benefiting from the secluded feel of being a million miles from City life but with the convenience of being striking distance of modern amenities. Guests can enjoy wild swimming from our private river frontage, a game or two of tennis, walks from your door, extensive grounds including woodland, orchards and a Nature Reserve. The magical Nature Reserve is rare salt marsh habitat and boasts an interesting array of flora and fauna. With herons, buzzards, egrets, kingfishers, pheasants, owls and bats galore, Lower Marsh Farms offers you over 40 acres of opportunities for rambling, bird watching, or just enjoying the peace and quiet of the Cornish countryside. The farm is managed in a gentle and environmentally friendly manner. The entire farm is a non-smoking property (not just inside the yurt cabin) - guests wishing to smoke need to walk to the end of the drive. Dogs are welcome but need to be kept under control - there are free roaming ducks and chickens. There is an extra charge per dog. Check out is by 10am. Late check out fees will be applied for departures after this.

Set in a rural location, with private river frontage (great for wild swimming, SUP, kayaking or just relaxing), nature reserve, woodland and orchards. The closest shops are about a 15 minute drive away. Within an easy drive, you can find sandy beaches, Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor, and lots of places for exploring. The city of Plymouth is within a 30 minute drive but the farm is a peaceful place to soak up being in nature, rest and relax.
