Newly renovated, North Balkello Cottage is a 4 bedroom house (sleeps 8), in an extremely peaceful location. Ideal for relaxation, families, couples and those who love the outdoors, walking etc. 2 living rooms, large well appointed kitchen/dining/living area with double oven, hob, dishwasher. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. 1 x Shower/Bathroom, 1 x En-suite Shower/Bathroom and 1 x Shower room. 4 televisions in house, 1 with BT Vision and Sony PlayStation 3 with small selection of games. Wifi. A high chair, stair guard, travel cot and bed guard available. Outdoor jacuzzi for 6. 2 decks both with outdoor furniture. Large garden laid to grass. Parking for several cars.

Welcome to North Balkello Cottage! The property was built by my Dad in the early 2000's and has been newly renovated, completed in 2018. The location suits my outdoor interests which include hillwalking, cycling, running and golf. The location is extremely peaceful with fantastic views, and amazing walks into the Sidlaw hills literally from the bottom of our driveway, but we are also just a 20 minute drive from Dundee city centre. The house offers the highest comfort levels, tastefully decorated, powerful showers, 2 large south facing decks catching the sun all day (sun subject to availability!), complete with Jacuzzi suitable for 6 adults!

Balkello Woodland Walks is on our doorstep which gives access to Craigowl and the Sidlaw Hills. Spectacular views can be enjoyed from here (and also from some areas of the house) to the Tay and beyond to Fife. Dundee town centre is a 20 minute drive in a taxi and the nearest Tesco is a 15 minute drive. Dundee is seeing an amazing renaissance with the regeneration of the Tay waterfront, the fantastic new V&A museum, new Olympia swimming pool with awesome flumes, superb restaurants, Slessor Gardens concert venue, and plenty more.
