Very quiet location, 10 mins from Wick and 25 mins from Thurso. Beautiful beach walks within 5-10 mins away. Lovely wee pub with good food offering just 1 min walk away.
We love Caithness and have walked many, many walks around it so don't hesitate to ask about local information. The beaches are fantastic, quite often you'll have the closest, Keiss beach, to yourself; there's many castles, brochs, cairns to visit, all for free; a great pub just a minute's walk away; the local distilleries are always friendly and worth a visit; the heritage centers and museums are fantastic for local info and artifacts; and if you're lucky you could spot a pod of orcas swimming through the bay, puffins nesting on the cliffs, and you're more than likely to see seals at lots of the quieter coastal areas around here.
