The location was excellent with lovely views up the hill. Right next to Askham Stores which has some delightful local luxuries as well as all the essentials. Easy walk to either of the two pubs in the village, both of which serve delicious food.

Lovely place with everything that you need for a short stay. We were attending a wedding so it was ideally located for that and the local shop being next door is exceptionally convenient.

It was a lovely cosy cottage but still with modern amenities. The beds were really comfy. Location was brilliant, easy to find, easy to get to the lakes and into Penrith, and could park right outside.

A charming cottage right in the centre of a really attractive and friendly village. Village shop on one side and pub on the other. But no noise! Wonderful walks from the front door, and Penrith or Pooley Bridge about 12 mins by car. The master...

A gorgeous cottage popped nicely between the village shop and the pub. Everything inside is new and in great condition - even the kitchen knives are sharp enough! - and all furnished very thoughtfully. Comfy beds and luxurious duvets a highlight....
