Welcome to our profile page. Please check out our own website for more details and rates as we aim to be cost effective for you our customers. We have worked in the hospitality industry for many years and hope to give you an affordable and genuine holiday experience. We love this area due to its close proximity to some great beaches and other beauty spots that West Cornwall has to offer. There are many places to go for walks along the coastal paths as well cycle. As we live on site we like to communicate with our guests and be on hand wherever necessary to enhance their stay here while giving them privacy. For those who like art, Jerry is available to give one on one tutorials for a small fee. We have loved our 5 years of hosting guests here and very much look forward to doing so for many more years to come. We are a same sex couple so therefore welcome all visitors to our accommodation and have a zero tolerance policy to any form of discrimination. We look forward to meeting you soon.
The property is located in a quiet Cornish hamlet called Drift. Its is easily assessible to many places. If you love the theatre then the Minack Outdoor theatre is approximately 15 minutes away. We are also close to surfing beaches and there are plentiful places for dining and drinking in nearby towns and villages. Mousehole the stunning fishing village is a mere 5 minute drive and a must see. We have compiled a list of some places to eat while visiting. St Ives is about a 20 minute drive away and a lovely to visit although feedback from passed guests is that they were happy to return to the tranquillity of here away from the hustle and bustle. St. Michaels Mount can be reached easily and we would recommend going at low tide so you can walk across the causeway. There are several events that go on in the area throughout the year for example The Glownan Festival in June in Penzance. We give updates on our facebook page (Old Workshop Cottage-Drift). Also close-by are some of the POLDARK film locations. Due to our rural location and lack of public transport we strongly recommend you have a car while visiting this part of Cornwall!!
