Orchard Hideaway is situated at Hollycroft Farm in Bielby. The farm is no longer a working farm but the open views and countryside make for a peaceful, rural place for a rest in beautiful Yorkshire whilst being close to the beautiful city of York; culture, history and top class hospitality. Pocklington is just 4 miles away and boasts independent cafe's, bars and restaurants plus 2 supermarkets and an excellent bus service to the centre of York. The area is popular with cyclists and walkers being in the heart of the Wolds. We are also located within an hour of the east coast with Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and Flamborough. If it is English heritage that you enjoy, a visit to Sledmere House, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes Hall are all close by.

I am looking forward to greeting you to stay at our small site of just 4 lodges. Myself and my husband designed the lodges to be exactly how we would want them to be. They are surprisingly spacious, with a separate bedroom which is unusual for this style of lodge. Getting in and out of either side of the bed was essential for us. We have lived here since 2021 and just love the location - we enjoy sharing it with others seeking to get away from busy lives to relax.

Orchard Hideaway is located just 4 miles from the market town of Pocklington and 14 miles from York one way and Beverley the other so you can enjoy being away from it all but have the delights of this beautiful city on the doorstep. The area is popular with walkers and cyclists too. You will find yourself just 8 miles from the breath-taking Yorkshire Wolds and within easy reach of the East Yorkshire coast. Pocklington has 3 supermarkets and a lovely street of independent shops; with a popular market every Tuesday. It boasts several pubs and a good choice of restaurants to include an Italian, Chinese, Indian and traditional pub food served in several locations. During the day there is a selection of excellent coffee shops and an ice cream parlour. Pocklington also boasts its own Arts Centre with a cinema and active theatre programme. York is one of the UK’s most popular visitor destinations in the country; particularly popular for its cultural and historic sites heritage; not to mention a vast choice of dining experiences and theatres. See information of recommended places later. Beverley is a popular town on a smaller scale to York with a thriving shopping street and many places to dine. The east coast is around 1 hour drive and you can visit the popular seaside towns of Scarborough, Bridlington, Flamborough and Filey.
