OXOX Room Only accommodation is an historic building with a fabulous history of smugglers and sailors, pirates and fishermen. Polperro is a picturesque historic fishing village with plenty of hidden harbours and caves and a rich maritime history. A visit to Polperro Heritage Museum which chronicles Polperro's history is a great day out, Polperro Model Village and Land of Legend is also a must. The famous Blue Peter Pub is virtually on our doorstep.

OXOX Room Only, Cornwall, is a grade II listed building reputedly dating back to 1595. It was originally a bakery, and its name comes from the baker's use of "noughts and crosses" OXOX to keep track of who had paid for bread. The rooms are located on Lansallos Street and are a few short paces from Polperro harbour and Polperro beach past the lovely gift shops, art studio, pottery, jewellery, pasty shop, chilli shop and cafes. The historic Noughts and Crosses has now been converted to a restaurant. The restaurant is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. One of our rooms - the Attic Room has a village view and is located at the front of the building, the other 3 rooms have a view over the River Pol which runs directly at the back of the building. There is a private entrance to our rooms for guests. The rooms offer a flat screen TV, and all rooms have private ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers, hairdryers and free toiletries. All the rooms have been completely refurbished and offer new beds, mattresses, linens and towels. Guests at OXOX restaurant with rooms will be able to enjoy all the activities Polperro has to offer, with fabulous coastal path walks, hiking, fishing, crabbing, wild swimming and boat trips all available on our doorstep.

A visit to Polperro Heritage Museum which chronicles Polperro's history is a great day out, Polperro Model Village and Land of Legend is also a good place to visit. There are so many shops which offer hand crafted produce JoJo & Co, Jasmine Rebecca Art, Mystical Moon, Silverseas Jewellery, Joan the Wad, Gina Farrell Art Studio, The Cornish Chilli Factory to name a few. There are beautiful walks along the South West Coastal Path to lovely Talland Bay and even a doggie deli for your furry friend.
