The second floor comprises a twin bed room. A sitting room with comfortable chairs and sofa, study with desk and Wifi and cloakroom are all situated on the lower ground floor, approached by period stone steps off the hallway.

Hi, I'm Mandy and the owner of Park Gate. I bought this property because of its fantastic location right on the edge of Burghley Park and because the park is a great place for spending down time with my children and the dogs. Burghley House is a magnificent place with its wonderful park land and amenities. Whether it’s having fun in the water park or having a picnic among the deer it really offers a great day out for all the family. Although I live just a short drive from Stamford I am there several times a week ensuring that the property is ready to welcome its visitors. I love interior design, soft furnishings and fabrics and ensure that the very high standard of cleanliness is always maintained. I wish to keep my 5star rating. Stamford’s Georgian architecture is truly splendid and the wonderful independent shops and restaurants make it such a vibrant place. With so much to offer you, Stamford truly is worth visiting and I have no doubt that, if you do come, if only for a couple of days, you will take some lovely memories home with you. The property is well situated within easy walking distance of Stamford’s wonderfully preserved town centre. Very well served by restaurants, cafes, independent shops and welcoming pubs it is not surprising that it was voted by The Sunday Times"Best place to live in Britain” in 2014. With its many historical buildings, Stamford is widely acknowledged to provide one of the most authentic Georgian townscapes in the UK. It’s a great town in which to stay and of course not forgetting a visit to Burghley House and the Burghley Horse Trials.
