Seaside cottage lovingly renovated, great for families and groups of adults. The beautiful and wild local beach is a five minute walk away. The village of Kessingland sits equidistant between the charming coastal town of Southwold and the beautifully maintained beaches around Lowestoft. Ideal for bird watching, coastal walks and family days out, Pea Cottage welcomes you into this charming world of the Suffolk seaside. My wife and I now live in France and have two properties here, one of which we have fully converted and modernised to let as a gite. During your stay there will always be somebody available locally if needed

Kessingland is a quiet and unassuming village nestled in the heart of Suffolk. Across the road from the cottage you will find a newly renovated playground and a traditional British fish and chip shop. The local beach is a five minute walk and is incredibly beautiful and even in high season is not over run with people. Close by is The Waterfront Restaurant, specialising in seafood. Also The Sweet Retreat offers a proper traditional English breakfast or simply a morning coffee. There is one parking space available for guests outside the house. If you need any other parking there is a free car park two minutes away across the road. There is a local co-op a five minute drive away. Local bus services will take you to Southwold and Lowestoft. There are a multitude of local activities so a car is advisable.
