The property is located in Stocking Pelham a quiet village setting just over 10 miles from Stansted Airport (far enough not to be disturbed by air traffic) and is perfect for exploring Saffron Walden, Audley End and Cambridge. There are fast train links to London via Bishops Stortford, situated just 8 miles away. My house is well maintained and is styled in a traditional country sort of way! The property benefits from off street parking, with a good selection of village pubs and a local supermarket just a short drive away.

I genuinely love meeting new people and welcoming them into my home. I have my own little handmade soap business and when I am not working, I like doing house maintenance, gardening, yoga, socialising, walking and have just recently taken up cycling.

I have lived in this village for over 20 years and so I know the local area pretty well. Although there is currently no pub in our village, (we are currently in dispute with some developers/and winning to get it back) there are some lovely surrounding pubs just a short drive away. The beautiful city of Cambridge is just 25 minutes away with fabulous shopping and places to eat. The historical town of Saffron Walden is placed just 12 miles away and has lovely independent shops, tea shops and was recently awarded as having one of the best smaller markets in the country on a Tuesday and Saturday. There is also the historical Audley End and Duxford Air Museum who often have shows and exhibitions - so there is quite a bit to see and do!
