The area is great for cycling and a canoe/kayak can be easily launched from the shore. Fishing is available from the rocky shoreline. There is an enclosed grassy garden at the front door and from the back door you are lead out onto decking which is also enclosed, both provide areas for children to play. The croft is set within approximately 14 acres of rugged ground, with some machinery stored on it, unfenced to the shoreline and a river runs passed the cottage, so children would need to be supervised at all times.
