The croft used to be the local post office, it is a traditional Scottish croft with low ceilings up stairs. a cosy homely feel to it, the kitchen is fully refurbished, The large bedroom is the complete of upstairs with a double bed one end and two single beds the other end with a drop down curtain to separate off if needed you have to walk through the single bed end to get to the double bed. (the ceilings are low see photos) the lounge has been fully redecorated with all new furniture. new carpets.(everything new 2024) hard floors to the the kitchen, bathroom and hallway. the bathroom has a bath with shower over the bath, There is a large private garden to the front of the house with just a short walk to Armadale beach. there is a small orchard and some fruit bushes the guests are welcome to help themselves in season. there is plenty of private parking behind closed gates. We have a ring doorbell to notify us of your arrival then it is turned off your privacy. And all just a few 100mt off the NC500.

We are hill farmers we live out at Forsinard on the flow country, we farm native Highland Cows and Black Face sheep, subject to how busy we are guests are welcome to visit the farm it is approx. 25 miles from the cottage.

Armadale is a small traditional coastal village just off the NC500 its close to Bettyhill where there is a hotel and café for food. a fuel station and swimming pool, Melvich is the same distance the other way where the is a coffee boffy and post office.
