This quaint cottage is set in the centre of the Historic Town of Dorking. A fully equipped kitchen, dining space inside or outside. Alternately relax in the Bars, Cafes and Restaurants that Dorking offers. The Cottage has parking, a secure courtyard garden and lockup for Cycles and Pushchairs. 2 minute walk to Meadowbank a park with a playground, good for walking the dog first thing in the morning. Cycle and Hiking routes all close by. Dorking boasts 3 train stations to arrive by or travel on.
There is so much to do in Dorking and the surrounding Surrey Hills that have been named 'outstanding'. Denbies Wine Estate is a short drive or a walk away. It has a train that takes you around the vines and estate with a glass of bubbly too. Wine tasting can be arranged. Silent Pool distillery is a 10 minute drive away. We have many National Trust places such as Polesden Lacey and Leith Hill Place which has just reopened and will be hosting lots of live events home of the composer Vaughan Williams. The NT Website can show you lovely walks around the Hills which you can print out. Dorking has a Museum and is famous for the Dorking Cockerel. Dorking has lots of bars, restaurants and cafe's all in easy walking distance of the cottage. 1 minute from Meadowbank a park which has a lake, child play area's, a café, indoor soft play and home to Dorking Wanderers Football Club. Dorking also has a famous Antique Street where Bargain Hunt has been filmed.
