Hello, I’m Linda and I love welcoming guests to Ranmore Rise Retreat in the beautiful Surrey Hills. In addition to hosting, I also run my own local tour company and previously worked as a Location Scout, so I know the area inside out and enjoy sharing its hidden gems with visitors. I’m always happy to help guests make the most of their stay, whether that’s recommending special places to visit, arranging activities, or creating tailored itineraries. Some guests prefer to explore independently, while others enjoy having help with planning — and I’m delighted to assist with as much or as little as needed, so you can simply relax and enjoy your time here.

Ranmore Rise Retreat is located in the charming village of Westcott, in the heart of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Guests enjoy a peaceful countryside setting with beautiful walking routes right from the doorstep, while still being just a 5-minute walk from local shops and a traditional village pub. The historic market town of Dorking is only one mile away, offering a wide choice of restaurants, cafés and independent shops. The location is ideal for exploring the Surrey Hills, with picturesque chocolate-box villages, scenic viewpoints, vineyards and historic attractions all nearby. Popular places to visit include Box Hill, Denbies Wine Estate and Polesden Lacey. Despite the tranquil setting, the property is very well connected — London is around 50 minutes away, Gatwick Airport approximately 30 minutes, and Heathrow Airport around 40 minutes by car.
