Scotch Terrace is a traditional three-storey Georgian townhouse in Whitehaven, accommodating up to six guests across three comfortable double bedrooms. It is well suited to families, groups of friends and professionals visiting or working in the area. Each bedroom provides storage for clothes and personal belongings. Bed linen, bath towels and hand towels are supplied for your stay. The family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead shower. The welcoming living room has two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV, allowing guests to sign in to their own streaming accounts. The townhouse retains several attractive period-style features, including traditional windows, decorative coving and a feature fireplace. The modern kitchen is equipped for both short and extended stays, with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, cookware, utensils and crockery. French doors open from the kitchen onto a small enclosed yard. Guests receive a small starter supply of toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, hand soap, kitchen roll and laundry capsules. Please note that the accommodation is arranged across three storeys and includes internal stairs. The property does not have private parking. Free public parking is available within approximately a five-minute walk, subject to availability. Several pay-and-display car parks and local disc-parking zones are also available nearby.

Scotch Terrace is situated close to Whitehaven town centre, providing convenient access to the town’s historic harbour, shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. A convenience store and local fish and chip shop are located just a few doors away, while several pubs and other amenities can be reached within a few minutes on foot. Whitehaven is approximately 27 miles from Keswick and the north-western Lake District, and around 48 miles from Windermere and the southern Lake District, making the townhouse a convenient base for exploring Cumbria. The location is also well suited to contractors and business travellers, with access to West Cumberland Hospital, Sellafield and Westlakes Science Park. Whitehaven railway station provides services along the Cumbrian Coast Line between Carlisle and Barrow-in-Furness. Local bus services also connect the town with surrounding areas. There is no private parking at the townhouse, but free public parking is available within approximately a five-minute walk. Spaces cannot be reserved or guaranteed.
