Sharp Edge - a luxury first floor apartment with stunning views over the surrounding fells from every room. You can even lie in the bath and savour the delights of Sharp Edge on Blencathra. The cottage has been tastefully furnished to the highest standards. Accommodation: Comfortable living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchen with WiFi internet access, flat screen digital TV/DVD, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster. Bathroom - bath and separate shower cubicle, W.C., wash basin and shaver socket, heater. The bedroom has zip and link single beds creating a six foot double bed. All bedding and duvets provided. You will have the run of the large gardens at Near Howe with many secluded seating areas.

Equally close at hand is Ullswater, topped and tailed by Pooley Bridge at the North and Glenridding to the South while in the opposite direction lies the picturesque village of Mungrisdale and further at 'Back o'Skidda' is Caldbeck, the former home of famous huntsman John Peel. All of this delightful countryside helps bring tourists to the area over an ever-increasing season. The surrounding area can provide many activities and pastimes, including golf, fishing, pony trekking, boating and walking, from the gentlest of rambles to the most strenuous of fell walks.
