Jolly's of Goodrich Holiday Cottages, quality accommodation in the beautiful Wye Valley (AONB). We are situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Goodrich. There are two excellent pubs in the village and Goodrich Castle on the doorstep. The market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth are only a few miles either side of us. The Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat are close by and so we are in the perfect spot for a get away all year round. From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll feel at home and relaxed. Our super soft linen, fluffy towels, well equipped kitchens, comfy and cosy living spaces will ensure every moment of your stay is enjoyable. There is fibre broadband throughout. We have a two bedroom and one bedroom cottage available. You can relax, recharge and explore. Wonderful pub lunches, gentle countryside strolls, towns and castles to explore or for the more adventurous river kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, rock climbing and so much more, are all within easy reach. The choices are endless, and we can offer as much or as little information as you need to make your stay perfect!
We have lived and worked in Gloucestershire all our lives but have now ventured to the other side of the Herefordshire border. Living and hosting in Goodrich is a exciting chapter in our lives. We both enjoy travelling and exploring new places and eating out is a favourite pastime.
The Wye Valley is set within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Goodrich is a lovely village situated between Ross on Wye (just off the M50) and Monmouth just off the A40 and so is ideally placed for visiting the The Forest of Dean, The Brecon Beacons, Hay on Wye, Abergaenny, The Malvern Hills, Hereford, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cardiff and Bristol etc. Having a car to explore the area will ensure you have the freedom to see and do all you want There are some lovely pubs with excellent cuisine in the local villages and restaurants in the local towns. There are plenty of shops to explore with many vintage, second hand and antique shops, high street chains and individual boutiques. There are many activities within easy reach, for all tastes and fitness levels! Goodrich castle is a 5 minute stroll up the road and the river Wye is less than half a mile away.
