The lodge, built by Ronnie in 2025, offers a perfect blend of modern luxury and cozy comfort. Here's what you can expect during your stay: Shower Room: Features a rainfall shower and provides luxury toiletries for a spa-like experience. Bedroom: Separated by a sliding door for privacy, it boasts a luxury king-sized bed with Kelly Hoppen Egyptian cotton bedding. Dressing gowns are provided, and slippers are gifted to our visitors. A hairdryer is also available for your convenience. Lounge and Dining Kitchen Area: Accessed through another sliding door, this area includes a comfortable couch for watching the smart TV with Sky entertainment. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave and air fryer combo unit, a gas hob, and an extractor fan. A recycling bin with clear instructions on what goes where is also provided. The dining table and two comfortable chairs make for a pleasant dining experience. Balcony: Outside, the small balcony features a bistro table and two chairs, perfect for sitting outside and watching the comings and goings on Uig Bay. Additional Amenities: Self Check-In: The lodge has a key pad with the keys inside, allowing you to self check-in for your convenience. Laundry: A small laundry area on site for 3 units to ise with a washing machine and tumble dryer is available for guest use for a fee. EV Charging Point: An EV charging point is available for guests to use, with payment based on the units used. Please note - We are licensed for holiday let by the council who also specify the number of people we can accommodate which is two people. We cant under any circumstances allow more than two people stay. We also cant accept pets due to allergies and being a working croft.

The lodge was built to enable early retirement. Ronnie was a builder and Senga a nurse and both enjoy meeting people, hosting was a natural progression. Although its self check in Ronnie usually likes to greet and welcome our guests on arrival and just ensure everything is ok for your

Uig is a beautiful small fishing village however has great resources for a small village. Groceries & Post Office are found in Rankins shop at the entrance to Uig. The shop has an excellent variety of goods on offer, the number of items the stock is akin to a large supermarket. The Post Office within Rankins is open from Monday to Friday 9am till 12md. There is also a cash machine within the store. Diesel and Petrol can be purchased from the garage which is found to the right as you exist the croft. There is also a small grocery store with a cash machine at the Garage. There is a café, The Anchorage next to the grocery store at the garage, where you can sit in or purchase a carry out. The pub at the pier is call The Bakur and can offer drinks and meals. This can be extremely busy due to the travelling ferry traffic. The Ferry Inn is another local hostelry serving nice meals and Gordon the owner offers an excellent Gin menu as well as other drinks, this is just before Rankins’ shop. The Uig Hotel serves delicious meals/drinks and the owners Ann and Billy offer excellent hospitality. The Galley seafood restaurant offers sit in or carry out meals with the best seafood on Skye
