Stable Cottage is a barn conversion on a working farm near Newbiggin-on-Lune. This upside-down cottage has two ground floor bedrooms - a king-size double which can be a twin, and a family room with three singles which can be a double and single on request. There is also a family bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs is an open plan living area. Outside is off road parking, a patio with furniture and shared grounds including a play area. Stable Cottage makes an ideal family base or retreat for walkers keen to tackle the fells. Two dogs welcome at 15 per dog.

Newbiggin-on-Lune is a small village below the Howgill Fells, set between the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales, making it an ideal base for exploring both. There is trout fishing in the river Lune nearby, good walking up the fells and easy access to attractions such as the Settle to Carlisle Railway.
