The house offers a wonderful location for exploring Skye such as the Old man of Storr and the Quaraing only a short drive away. You can enyoy beautiful panormaic mountain views as far as the eye can see, to the East you can see Portree with Ben Tianavaig to the far East, the flat topped mountain of Dun Cann in the distance which is the Isle of Raasay's highest mounatin, then to the West you can view the small townships of Borve, Skeabost and the Hills of Harris in the distance, we have a patio area to sit, relax and enjoy the views, you might even get lucky a spot some Red Deer roaming the Moorland, if you're an early bird you can enjoy a coffee while watching the sunrise or in the evening enjoy and glass of wine while watching the sunset in the summer months.

Stag Moor House is situated only 3km from Skye's capital, Portree, where you can have a stroll around the village and expect to find many restaurants, pubs and shops worth browsing. Wander around the harbour as you tuck into a fresh portion of fish and chips, taking in the idyllic scenery and colourful buidings. Avid walkers can take to the trotternish Ridge, an area of dramatic and rugged lanscapes, including the Old man of Storr and the Quiraing, whilst Sligachan offers the stunning cuilin mountains and the fresh river flowing from it.
