We have several years successful prior experience of short letting at the house, and found guests often fell in a few categories: - Sheffield and Hallam University students and families, as we are a 10 minute walk from Endcliffe Halls and a little further to the sites used for graduation ceremonies. - Peak District visitors. We are a 10 minute drive from the park boundary, should you be visiting to hike, cycle, rock climb or enjoy the park in other ways. - Those visiting for Sheffield sporting and cultural events - including swimming competitions at Ponds Forge, Tramlines music festival and the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible, to name but a few! The house has Victorian character combined with modern comforts and a homely, subtle style. This is a well proportioned Victorian terrace, with three bedrooms, an open plan kitchen dining room, a lounge and a bathroom. We also have a study space with desk, on the first floor landing. The rooms are generally large, light and have high ceilings. To the front the house looks directly down to the entertainment and retail pleasures of Hunters Bar, and so is not overlooked by another house. To the rear there is a private courtyard with table and chairs, with mature trees behind and a view of the Endcliffe Park canopy to one side. Comforts come in the form of log burning stove, double glazing throughout, quality cutlery, crockery and kitchenware. Upstairs we use only quality linen and towels, and carpeting is pure wool. WiFi is super fast, fibre directly in to the house.

We have always felt the house gives a perfect combination of very rapid access to green space and a lively social scene, whilst itself remaining calm and separate from the local buzz. The house is in an elevated position literally just 25 metres from Endcliffe Park, a wide open space which you can walk down to through a short woodland trail or on the road. We’re also just 3-4 minutes walk from Hunters Bar roundabout, renowned in Sheffield as the gateway to both Ecclesall Road and Sharrowvale, both famous for the wide range of excellent restaurants, bars, cafes and independent shops. The house’s raised situation keeps you pleasingly removed from any festivities there may be though, at the end of your day.
