Summit Camping offers basic farm field Camping pitches with outstanding views over Devon & Cornwall. Bring your OWN TENT or CAMPERVAN, bring everything with you to camp on the Grass. Or Book Bella the Bell Tent for a touch of Glamping. We are a wild back-to-nature field with NO Electric. park next to your tent. There's a Communal fire pit & free wood, a Field Shelter with Solar lights & mobile phone charging, picnic tables, notice boards. Porta loos, and a wash hand basin, there is also a Gas shower in the Shower Shed. fresh water tap, and washing up stand. There is a Licensed Cafe Louis Tea Room just down the lane towards Callington. Callington 2 miles away has, pubs, restaurants, shops, fuel, chemist and Doctor/Dentist/Vets.

Hi we are Tracy, Jon & Beau, Welcome to Summit Camping field in the beautiful Tamar Valley. Above us is Kit Hill with 400 acres of Country Park to explore. an ideal location to discover both Counties, Dartmoor & Bodmin Moor plus South & North Coasts are all within 40 mins by car. Brittany Ferry Port at Plymouth is just 25 mins by car. We have Free Range eggs & Honey. This is a POPUP camping field, not permanent, we do not have electricity and can't host Caravans. We live locally and are up and down to the site several times a day.

The Quarry lake is halfway up the hill down a lane on the right it's well worth a look, also go to the top of the hill for a 360-degree view which is stunning. Louis cafe is closest for food etc. Callington 2 miles has pubs, a bank, a pharmacy, a spar, Tesco & Fuel. 2 pubs, a micropub The Cornish Ancestor, takeaways, places for food. Good pubs, The Royal Inn at Horsebridge. The Rising Sun Gunnislake, The Carpenters Arms Harrowbarrow then pop to Cotehele House NT. river walks. The Swingletree Kelly Bray has a beer garden and reasonably priced food, and phone charging at the Bar. Dogs welcome. Walk the Tamara Path Coast2Coast. check out the Notice boards for activities.
