The former farm building is ideal for couples, friends and families who want to use the cottage as a base to explore the fantastic beaches and countryside Norfolk has to offer. Sunny Dene Cottage sleeps 6 in total and there are bedrooms and a bathroom on both floors. With a full bathroom upstairs and well-appointed shower room downstairs, a roomy double bedroom downstairs, and a king size and large single upstairs, there is also a 3ft day bed in the living area, which is ideal for a small child.

Mundesley is a charming village with shops, pubs, restaurants and of course, the gorgeous sandy beach. The Ship pub has a spacious garden overlooking the sea, lovely restaurant and a new fish and chip takeaway. Walcott Beach is more accessible, with roadside parking, several steps down to the beach, a cafe, shop, fish and chip shop and toilets opposite. For a quieter stretch of beach Bacton and Trimingham are nearby, with stunning views on the drive down to the car park. Bacton is known for its very quiet sandy beaches offering miles of walking along the beach and cliffs. The England Coast Path passes through the village and also the Paston Way long-distance footpath, linking Cromer and North Walsham. The bustling market town of Norwich is about 45 minutes away with its picturesque lanes, buzzy market, cultural displays and dining treats. And of course there are our two famous Cathedrals and Norwich Castle. Wroxham - the heart of the broads, is the perfect place for boat tours, day boat hire, shopping, or to visit Wroxham Barns; a family adventure park with rides, junior farm, shopping, dining, crazy golf, a maize maze, and so much more. Sunny Dene is also well located as a base for walking holidays. Just a few yards away from the cottage, walkers can be on the Paston Way, and for for serious walkers, the Weaver's Way can be joined in North Walsham (only 3 miles away). There is plenty to do in the area, with a bowling alley in North Walsham, the amazing Bewilderwood (fantasy playground), the Bure Valley Railway runs from Aylsham and the North Norfolk Railway starts at Sheringham. For adults there is a little cinema at nearby Cromer and the End of the Pier Show offers traditional sea-side entertainment. For history lovers there are fabulous National Trust properties nearby (Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park). The beautiful Georgian Town of Holt is worth a visit with its wealth of independent shops, tea rooms and antique centres.
