Widegates is 4 miles from the pretty fishing village of Looe. There is a small farm shop and cafe 1.5 miles(driving is safer). In Looe here is a wealth of cafes and restaurants to pick from and the sandy beach is popular with families. There is a mainline station at Liskeard and St Germans, both 4 miles away. At Liskeard there is a Morrisons and Aldi supermarket. 12 miles away at Saltash you have Waitrose and Lidl. The cottage is ideally suited to reach Fowey, Eden Project and Plymouth in around 30 minutes. Further afield, visiting Newquay, Watergate Bay, Padstow can all be reached in an hour by car.
