Sycamore Cottage is a beautifully presented two-bedroom eco barn conversion set within a peaceful rural landscape in West Cumbria. Accommodating up to four guests across two comfortable king-size bedrooms, it is ideal for couples, families, friends and professionals seeking a relaxing short or extended stay. Surrounded by woodland, wetlands, ponds and open countryside, the cottage offers a quiet retreat away from busy roads while remaining within reach of the western Lake District. Both bedrooms feature king-size beds and provide storage for clothes and personal belongings. Bed linen, bath towels and hand towels are supplied for all guests. Newly installed Starlink provides super-fast and reliable Wi-Fi, allowing guests to stream, work remotely and stay connected despite the cottage’s secluded location. The surrounding grounds include three ponds, woodland and the nearby River Keekle. Guests may spot a variety of local birdlife and other wildlife during their stay, although sightings of particular animals cannot be guaranteed. Ample free private parking is available on site. Secure bicycle storage is also provided for guests exploring the nearby Coast to Coast route. Please note that access to Sycamore Cottage is through part of Silverbirch Cottage’s rear garden. Guests should follow the designated access route and remain considerate of those staying in the neighbouring cottage.

Sycamore Cottage occupies a peaceful countryside position in West Cumbria, surrounded by woodland, wetlands, open countryside and local wildlife. The property is approximately 200 yards from the Coast to Coast route, making it particularly convenient for walkers and cyclists. Secure bicycle storage is available at the cottage. Ennerdale Water is around a 10-minute drive away, while Loweswater can be reached in approximately 35 minutes, with Crummock Water and Buttermere beyond. Longlands Lake is also nearby. Keswick and the north-western Lake District are approximately 25 miles away, while Windermere and the southern Lake District are around 47 miles away. The location is also convenient for professionals working near Sellafield, West Cumberland Hospital and Westlakes Science Park. Guests benefit from ample free private parking and super-fast Starlink Wi-Fi despite the remote setting. Access to the cottage follows a designated route through part of the neighbouring Silverbirch Cottage garden.
