Omagh is the county town of Co.Tyrone and many of our guests base themselves here as we are close to our neighbouring counties Donegal , Derry and Fermanagh .The American Folk Park is of great interests to visitors on a genealogy trip .Hugh is willing to share his broad knowledge and expertise of local history and his large library collection .He will also act as a tour guide assisting with tracing ancestors ,and can be contacted re costs involved .Guests enjoy exploring the Sperrins region with its natural attractions.Forest parks such as the Gortin Glen Forest Park and Drum Manor Forest Park with their nature trails ,abundant wild life and forest lakes. The Sperrins area is also rich in archaeological remains for example Beaghmore Stone Circles .
