The hotel is very modern and the rooms are stunning! The hotel has been open since October 2025 but looks like it was open yesterday. The staff was also very helpful. It is also close to the city center.

Mahons is a lovely hotel with genuine and friendly staff and is a welcome change from franchise hotels where we were greeted with warmth and personality from the staff. The bar area and indeed the hotel itself is full of interesting collections of antiques and memorabilia and I spent hours looking around at all the different peculiarities. This hotel has city walls!! , so you have the chance and I highly recommended, to walk the top of the walls and enjoy the view!! It is Centered, walkable, pretty, comfortable rooms and bed, friendly staff, the bar tender Nico!, was super friendly and gave us recommendations and also Shannon from the reception and the restaurant staff super nice (breakfast!). Complete breakfast, very good!! Our room was very nice, comfy, big bed, spacious bathroom, and the hotel has it’s own PARKING!!!!!! Of course not many spaces but if you get there enough time before check in your probability to get a space is high. If not, there is another parking close to the hotel! Check in was easy. Very close to shops, mall, rest, plaza, and pubs!!! Its a very nice town to walk and enjoy!!
