The Barn is set in the courtyard of our 15th century House and within the backdrop of Bourne Abbey Church built in 1134. Stylish interior and lighting allows you to embrace the privacy and tranquility of the Barn and its unique character. White Company Egyptian Linen and towels, and luxury bath products ensure you can relax and wind down at the end of the day. Please take note this listing is for adults only and unfortunately we do not allow pets. We look forward to welcoming you.
We moved to Bourne, South Lincolnshire in 2020. We have really enjoyed exploring the local area, the great countryside and nearby villages. People are so welcoming here and we hope you have the same experience. Bourne town centre is a 5 minute walk and has a vibrant but small high street. On a Thursday or Saturday there is a small vegetable market for local produce. On a Friday and Saturday Hambledon bakery and Grasmere Butchers are worth a visit. South Lincolnshire is traditionally flat and therefore a great place to walk and cycle. We have plenty of room to store your bikes. Toft Golf club is a 10 minute drive if you fancy 18 holes. Local attractions include Bourne Woods and the immaculately kept war memorial gardens just across the road if you want to relax. Stamford (20 minute drive) is a 17th/18th period town popular for shopping, eating and for its historic buildings and churches. Burghley House is a prominent feature and is open to the public. Grimsthorpe Castle Park & Gardens ( 10 minute drive ) is open to the public Rutland Water (30 minute drive ) - Walks, sailing, crazy golf, dog walks or for relaxing by the lake.
