The Batch is extremely quiet and private up a driveway. The owners live on site but are away from the property.
Parking is safe and easily accessible on the level.
We provide milk, tea and coffee as well as some store cupboard basics.
There is a fridge with small freezer, an oven and hob, microwave and plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils.
For stays of 2 or more nights, homemade biscuits or cake is provided.
Hi, I’m Niki and have been hosting for 11 years and really enjoy meeting our guests. However, although Peter and I are on hand, we are not intrusive and are only there in case you need something.
We also have a very friendly lab called Woody.
We are a 10 minute walk from Thorverton centre where there is a village pub that serves good food. We are 15 minutes by car from Exeter and Crediton and 20 minutes from Tiverton. Within easy access of both the north and south coast of Devon and about an hour to Dorset and just over an hour to Cornwall.
There are some lovely National Trust properties close by and we can also recommend places to eat locally.
