Neighborhood info

Nether Edge is an attractive, desirable, green and leafy suburb with it’s own village centre and close to the many shops and restaurants and the Antiques Quarter on Abbeydale Road. It’s about a thirty-minute walk to the city centre and only a fifteen-minutes to Ecclesall Road. A ten-minute drive to the city center and motorway links via the A61. The centre of Nether Edge has all the small conveniences that you need and make for a village feel to the area. There’s a local Sainsbury’s, butchers, barbers, two independent and excellent cafés – Café 9 and Homemade. There are multiple parks in the area, this includes Chelsea Park, off Chelsea Road. Chelsea Park is a lovely enclosed park with a small playground. [Belvoir!, 2016]
