Set in a small country village, close to many of Northumberland's charming towns, sandy beaches and great restaurants , a warm, informal welcome awaits you with a pot of tea and cookies! We offer upmarket, comfortable accommodation at THE BRIDGES B&B going that extra mile to make you feel special The Grey Room is en-suite, with TV/DVD and tea/coffee making facilities. The Green Room has a separate bathroom for which we provide soft waffle robes, also has TV/DVD, tea/coffee making facilities and offers a huge space to relax. We provide shampoo & shower gel, tourist information by way of brochures and sharing our own experiences on fabulous spots to eat and places to visit. 5 star breakfasts will fill you for most of your day and our guests always leave as friends! Home away from home!

Born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and having lived in South Africa since 1975, my husband and I moved back to the UK and to Northumberland in 2012. We have travelled extensively and love meeting new people. We offer a homely, relaxed environment and "attention to detail" is our slogan. A cut above the rest and nothing is too much trouble. Come and enjoy our hospitality in THE best kept secret in the United Kingdom, beautiful Northumberland!

THE BRIDGES B&B is situated in the village of North Broomhill, 2 miles from a wonderful,sandy beach at Druridge Bay and the harbour town of Amble (voted in 2015 as Britain's Best Coastal town), with its many pubs and restaurants. We are centrally situated to the quaint villages of Warkworth and Alnmouth and Harry Potter's Alnwick Castle. Day trips up the magnificent Northumberland coastal route take you to Bamburgh Castle, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and the Scottish Borders.
