The Byre is a charming ground floor stone annexe, part of a barn conversion located on the owners 8 acre small holding housing horses, sheep, goats, friendly dogs and a cat! nestling quietly in an idyllic corner of the Herefordshire countryside overlooking Dinmore woods. It is situated equidistant from the villages of Bodenham and Marden making it an ideal base from which to explore the numerous NT properties and places of interest in the surrounding area.

For keen walkers there are numerous footpaths in this area including the Bodenham circular walk which can be joined at the end of our driveway and branching off this route, one can walk to the Bodenham Lakes Nature Reserve. Hereford is 8.5 miles away with its magnificent Cathedral, Leominster 10 miles a haven for lovers of antiques and curios, Ludlow 20 miles with its Castle and weekly market, Hay-on-Wye 26 miles noted for its annual festival, the market town of Ledbury 17 miles and just beyond it lies Eastnor Castle host for a variety of events during the year. The Malvern hills 21 miles, the Forest of Dean Cycle hire and walking centre 31 miles, several Golf Courses and of course the famous Black and White trail including Weobley, Pembridge and Eardisland are close by.
