Welcome to Catkins holiday flat-let. We are situated in the countryside close to the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Botesdale is 1.5 miles down a country lane, Diss 6 miles and Bury St Edmunds 15 miles. Botesdale has 2 pubs, a fish & chip shop, Chinese take away & Co-op. Ipswich & Norwich 35mins away and Cambridge 50 mins. Peaceful, rural location. Country walks. Catkins is a delightful flat-let, enter through a pretty conservatory ( 10fy x 10ft ) with sofas, T.V. heater. A lovely place to watch the sunset. Through to Bed/living room (17ft x 12ft ) with King size bed and T.V., full heating, table and chairs. The Bathroom/wet room (12ft x7ft) has bath, mains supply and electric shower. The kitchen (10ft x 8ft ) with small table and chairs, cooker, fridge, freezer and washing machine, Kettle, toaster and microwave. There is a private garden with table and chairs and ample, spacious parking yards away.
Hello, we ran the whole house as a B & B but in 2020 we had to stop, and never started again We had great reviews, and met lots of lovely people. On Google maps it shows " permanently Closed " That is the B&B. Not Catkins.
We are in the countryside, surrounded by working farms, arable, sheep, pigs and chickens. You can walk to the village, either by road, or along country footpaths. Take a torch if walking back in the dark !
