Welcome to the scenic & relaxing Glansevern Hall Estate. We are a 50 acre Grade II* listed estate on the CADW register of historic grounds & parkland. If you're looking for a memorable break in beautiful surroundings then you won’t be disappointed! You will be staying in the Grade II listed coach house and clock tower which sits in the Victorian courtyard at the centre of a 50 acres estate complete with a Georgian Grade II* listed hall. The building is Victorian red brick with plenty of exposed beams and other original features. The estate grounds are a CADW registered historic parklands with incredible protected views out over the local hills and valleys. Friendly, well behaved dogs welcome & there are many acres of wooded & lakeside walks to explore. We do ask that they are kept on lead at all times when in the grounds, but we do have an enclosed field, so please ask us about this if you wish to use. Due to the age and character of this property, there are some things we can not change. there are no double glazed windows. The heating controls are below the property, in an area that's not accessible. But when visiting during the colder months, we pop this on before you arrive, so that the property is warm for you and this is on 24/7. We do our best to keep this property warm during the colder months, but do recommend bringing blankets, if you like to get cozy of an evening, whilst curled up on the sofa. There are very few plug sockets. This doesn't affect your stay, but has been noted by other guests in the past, so we have had to put extension cables where we can. The kitchen has a hob, toaster, microwave and a 26L air oven. (this is to replace the main oven, which currently doesn't get to a high temperature and we're waiting to be repaired) Please bear this in mind if cooking of an evening for a large group.
