Churchside Huts Holidays is run by husband and wife Tommy and Lucy. Tommy has built 2 unique cabins from scratch, using recycled materials wherever possible, and created a special getaway location in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, just outside Louth. The Cosy Nest Hut is one of 2 glamping pods for couples, for adults only.

The Cosy Nest Hut is a unique, rustic glamping pod situated in beautiful gardens alongside 2 other cabins. This quirky ‘fancy shed’ has been built from scratch using as many upcycled materials as possible and finished to a high standard. It’s partly a shepherds hut in appearance, with an L-shaped extension on the side to provide a light and spacious interior feel. Nestled in a shaded leafy corner of the gardens, it is a romantic space - ideally situated for enjoying sunsets, birdsong and wildlife watching from the balcony. Perfect for couples or solo stays. Two recycled stained glass windows provide pretty coloured light as the sun filters through them. Please note that the roomy designated washroom containing toilet, basin and shower is just a few steps away, for your private use during your stay. WiFi and a small smart tv are available in the property, as well as a gas hob for drinks and snacks. There is also a shared summerhouse kitchen facility which has shaded seating and a dining table. Shared facilities include a fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee pod machine. A welcome pack is provided which includes some milk and hot chocolate and marshmallows for toasting around the firepit. Heating is provided in both the hut and the washroom for cooler days and nights. Guests have loved The Cosy Nest Hut as a beautiful calm space to escape and unwind from everyday pressures at home. The evening ambiance with crackling fires and fairy lights, plus a few toasted marshmallows, is always a winner. The other small guest cabin is not too close so it doesn’t feel crowded. The owners live next door and will welcome you on arrival, help if you need anything, but leave you to enjoy your stay otherwise.

We are situated in Keddington, a small village just outside Louth in Lincolnshire. We are surrounded by farmland and rolling hills of the Wolds, with riverside walks and huge sandy beaches nearby. There are busy resorts such as Mablethorpe or Cleethorpes and deserted coastal havens like Theddlethorpe and Anderby Creek just 20minutes drive away. Cadwell Park racing track is a particularly fun destination enjoyed by many of our guests. Louth is a charming’foodie’ market town, packed with independent shops and a wide selection of cafés and places to dine out. The historic City of Lincoln with its majestic cathedral is a must see destination just 40 mins drive away.
