The Croft, Home Farm consists of a kitchen/diner with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, air fryer, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, along with dining seating for four and a sitting room with Smart TV. The bedrooms include a ground-floor double with Smart TV and a twin, served by a ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and a stairgate is available. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture, along with off-road parking for three cars. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. The shop is 1.2 miles away, the pub is 0.1 miles away and the reservoir is 1.1 miles away. Note: There is a spiral staircase which is not suitable for those with mobility needs. Th Village was designed and built, by Sir William Amcotts Ingleby in the 1830's. Sir William was so inspired by a model estate village he saw on a visit to France, that he came home and demolished the existing buildings in Ripley, beginning again from scratch to a classic French design. Today, the village is small and unspoilt and boasts a beautiful Castle in the centre (still home to the Ingleby family) with extensive gardens open to the public which include waterfalls, bridges and a lake. Deer graze in the grounds and there is a shop and tea-rooms within the Castle. The village has a large cobbled market place in the centre, overlooked by the Boar's Head - an old coaching inn which offers an excellent restaurant, bar and bistro. There is a village store and ice cream parlour where visitors can enjoy the very popular Ripley ice cream, along with a butcher’s, art gallery and much more.
