New for 2023, The Gambo is a traditional Shepherd Hut set in a secluded spot. This luxury hut boasts a king-sized bed, kitchen area with a sink, 2-ring hob and fridge, a bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink. From the comfort of the king size bed, or sofa you can look out onto the glorious undisturbed countryside and nearby coastline and the Gower Peninsula. Soak in your exclusive electric hot tub and enjoy star gazing the unpolluted West Wales night skies. There is a firepit and a picnic bench as well as comfy garden chairs. Relax and rejuvenate during your stay by visiting the outdoor sauna and cold plunge pool, a short walk away down by the brook. This unique experience is now available to book - Thirty Five pounds an hour. Hourly slots 9am, 10am, 11am - 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm. Your tranquil getaway will be made even more perfect knowing that it’s eco-friendly, with the farm windmill powering your stay. There is dedicated parking on site, with easy access to your accommodation, allowing you to come and go as you please.

The ancient town of Kidwelly, 2 miles away has a medieval castle, one of the best in Wales, and a magnificent church. There are cafes, a large Co op, a post office, newsagent and chemist. You can walk down to the town on the footpath over the brook and through the woods, but you will need walking boots. There are plenty of local places to eat in the evening in Kidwelly, Pembrey and Llandyfaelog. Pembrey Country Park is about 4 miles away with a dry ski slope, bike hire, adventure playground and 7 mile stretch of sandy beach. Cycle or walk along the Millennium Coastal Path with its stunning views of the estuary. Carmarthenshire is renowned for its castles with Llansteffan, Carreg Cenin and Dynevwr our local favourites. Carmarthen and Llandeilo are the market towns of the area and well worth a visit. There are beaches in Pembrey and Burry Port. The Pembrokeshire beaches are about one hour to the west, the Gower Peninsular one hour east, with the Brecon Beacons one hour north.
