The Georgian Flat is a lower ground floor apartment within a charming row of six Georgian houses, tucked away on a quiet private road while still being in the heart of Penzance, Cornwall. The apartment offers a beautifully designed and exceptionally spacious retreat. It sleeps five with two large bedrooms plus a cabin-style sleeping nook and two bathrooms (one ensuite). The Georgian Flat has a small private terrace to enjoy morning coffee or al fresco lunches, plus a large communal garden and a private parking space for one car. We are currently refurbishing The Georgian Flat, ready to welcome guests from May 30th 2025. As we progress, we’ll be adding more interior photographs to showcase the space. The Georgian Flat has been thoughtfully designed as a cosy and elegant retreat, offering a peaceful escape in the heart of Penzance. With its soothing neutral tones, layered textures, and timeless English coastal interiors, it’s a space that invites you to unwind—whether curled up with a book on a rainy afternoon or enjoying a leisurely breakfast sitting at our window seat in the kitchen. Blending the historic charm of a period property with carefully considered design details, the apartment features natural materials, soft linens, and a mix of contemporary and antique furnishings that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thoughtfully curated artwork, a well-stocked bookshelf, and subtle coastal touches reflect its Cornish setting, whilst a comfortable sitting room with a view of the little terrace provides the perfect spot to relax. A large hall has a built-in desk area for those wishing to work or write. We have 2 bedrooms, each with a king-size bed. The third bedroom is a tiny cabin room with a 4-foot double bed with doors directly off the living room. Bear in mind if bringing children!

Every detail is chosen to create a comfortable and inviting space. Pets are very welcome by prior arrangement! Please let me know if you’re bringing your dog — we charge a fee for a maximum of one dog. Other pets are not allowed. Please keep them off furniture and beds and do not leave alone in the property. We provide a bed, fleece and dog bowls for them. I’m always happy to help with local tips or anything you need during your stay. Looking forward to welcoming you!

The independent shops of Causeway Head are just a minute or two’s stroll away, and include an amazing bakery, delicatessen and lovely cafés. It is a ten-minute walk to the Jubilee Pool and Penlee Park with its art gallery and outdoor theatre. Penzance is a fantastic base from which to explore west Cornwall. St Michael’s Mount is a fifteen-minute drive or a leisurely three-mile walk along the southwest coastal path! Lands End and the famous Minack Theatre are approximately 25 minutes away by road. St Ives and the Tate Gallery are 20 minutes away by road. House Rules/Terms: Everyone is welcome at our Holiday Lets. We offer an inclusive and respectful space for all guests, including LGBTQ+ travellers, people of all backgrounds, and families of all kinds. We believe in creating a warm, welcoming environment where you can relax and enjoy your stay. The guest will be liable for all additional costs of repairs, replacements and extra cleaning resulting from their pet's stay. Please do not allow your dog into any of the bedrooms.  In the event of damage caused by a pet or the need for deep cleaning an extra charge will be made. Please do not leave dogs unattended on the property.   Please no barkers!  It is an apartment, and we need to keep our neighbours happy!  Dogs must not toilet in the communal garden. No cats allowed. As with many conversion flats, some noise from the flat above may be heard depending on who is there and the time of day. No smoking, vaping, E-cigarettes or candles are permitted inside the property. You may smoke outside but please remove all debris. Please do not use self-tan or any other products which could stain our bedding. An extra cleaning cost will apply if the bedding is heavily stained.
