The Annex is a quaint retreat, lovingly designed and beautifully presented. Compact yet well equipped, it includes a fitted kitchen with a fridge, washing machine, and cooker. The spacious bathroom features a roll-top bath and a walk-in shower. The bedroom offers a king-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, an open wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and an additional smart TV. The living room is spacious and comfortable, with two sofas and a 50-inch smart TV. It also includes a small extendable dining table with two chairs. A natural flint feature wall, once the exterior wall of the adjoining barn, adds character to the space. Double doors open onto the beautiful garden, which features a pond, an abundance of flowers and wildlife, and a vegetable patch that is still being developed. The garden is fully safe for your four-legged friends. On-site parking is also available.

My family and I love spending time here. The Annex is our peaceful retreat—a calm and relaxing place to unwind. Our dog enjoys walks through the surrounding woods and swims in the nearby River Nar. Pentney Lakes is just a short bike ride, or an even shorter drive, making it ideal for water sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, and anglers. This is my second holiday home. My first, The Sorting House in Hunstanton, is a very successful two-bedroom property. I love hearing from the guests and families who have stayed there, and it is always a pleasure to welcome them back again and again.

The Annex sits on the border of Narborough and Pentney, just off the A47 between King’s Lynn and Swaffham, both around 10 minutes away by car. The property is surrounded by woodland, Pentney Lakes, and the River Nar. It is also close to RAF Marham, home of the F-35 Lightning, a fifth-generation multi-role stealth fighter. Castle Acre Priory is a remarkably complete example of a Norman planned settlement, with a castle, village, parish church, and one of the best-preserved monastic sites in England. Duration Brewery is just a stone’s throw away in the village of West Acre. Narborough Museum is right next door and showcases village artefacts and local Norfolk history. Pentney Lakes is not only a haven for water sports enthusiasts, but also an area rich in history, shaped by its Romano-British roots with a Roman road and settlement near the River Nar. The area is popular with walkers, water sports enthusiasts, and those seeking outdoor adventure.
